About me

Welcome to my website. My name is Neriman(Nery), I am an artist based UK, Hertfordshire.

All my paintings are all original and there are no copies so making each piece matchless. All my paintings and photos include my signature.

My strength is that I never give up when I start, I lose myself while drawing and painting, enjoy teaching, getting involved very much.

My weakness is perfection, striving for perfection, I try to make every piece perfect. "Knowing there will be an end product is rewarding and motivates me", so I do keep going back to a painting to see if I can make it better, and it is very time consuming.

Education

 I love working with kids and teaching them art so I combined both and I became a qualified nursery teacher, this is where I do loads of arts and crafts with the nursery children and also with my ones at home. I just love arts and crafts and making stuff.

I have started drawing, painting, making stuff from young age, I have a Diploma in Art and Design, I also did various art therapy, colour therapy and child psychology courses.

About my work

I love working with all kinds of medium including pencils, felt tips, crayons/pastels, acrylic, watercolour and oil paints, as well as mixed media.

I found that: Oil paint takes time to dry up and it’s a strong challenge but it blends very well like pencils. 

For Watercolour if you add more water the colour becomes lighter and vise versa.

Acrylic dries out very quick but is not effected by water.

I like working with foil, paper, cardboard, canvas as well as wood slices and wood burning.

I do like planning everything beforehand and also looking at the pros/cons.

Art is a powerful way to express oneself and I believe in art therapy.

I combine bright colours with mandala and zendala, zentangle art and use it as art therapy & healing, which has been used for ages by a wide variety of cultures.

Art is an important part of education, and learning art can provide many benefits, using art develops and strengthens fine and gross motor skills as well as eye coordination. Art is a therapy, is a mode of communication and helps people of all ages.

I love illustrating and make animations/stop motion too.

I love adding detail to my work ,so mandala and zendela is my go-to place, discovered while adding detailed lines and bright colours, although I still love learning and experimenting with different techniques.

My creative process involves starting with an idea and adding detail to make it stand out, often combining mandalas with vibrant colours. I hope viewers will feel the emotions in my work and get lost in the details.

How to buy my art online and in person

For online: Browse and pick the art that you like, swipe the photos for each one. You will see the photos, details, sizes and description, price etc.

Click the Buy buttons, next to the ones you want to buy and it will bring you to a safe PayPal pay, where you can put in your address, pay with credit, debit card or PayPal.

It will be shipped to your door. I use PayPal so everyone is safe and I provide free signed for delivery to the UK.

In person: You can use contactless, scan the QR codes for each painting. Red is sold, Blue is only available online.
